APPOINTMENT REMINDER
If you are getting a tattoo, touch up, or colour test, please visit the following link and submit a consent form prior to your appointment: https://forms.gle/X92JisCzos6tVvHS6
If you are coming in for a consultation, all you need to do is show up and have any references ready to go on your phone or emailed to me ahead of time!
My studio address is Unit #312 - 402 W Pender St in the downtown neighbourhood of Vancouver, British Columbia. To enter the building, please dial #312 (including the hash symbol) on the door buzzer. You will need to take the elevator up to the third floor as stair access is restricted, but please email me if you run into any issues accessing the building or our unit! If the elevator button is not lighting up when you press it after entering the building, press the green exit button located to the left of the entrance doors (from the inside) next to the building directory and then try the elevator button again; you will need to press the same exit button in order to unlock the doors to leave the building.
*Please don’t DM me on Instagram if you can’t find/access the studio, I don’t have notifications turned on and I will almost certainly not see it in time - email is only form of communication I respond to!**
If you need to cancel and reschedule, please remember to do so at least 48 hours prior to your appointment by emailing me at nik.tattoo.booking@gmail.com. Failure to give sufficient notice of cancellation will result in forfeiture of your deposit. Current exceptions include if you begin feeling sick with COVID-19 symptoms or if you have come into contact with someone with a confirmed case of COVID-19; if either of these are the case, please email me ASAP and we can reschedule using the same deposit with at least 24 hours notice. I am unfortunately unable to make exceptions for same day cancellations, regardless of the reason.
Important notes:
You must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to get a tattoo from me (i.e. at least 2 doses, preferably with boosters). I am happy to provide my own proof of vaccination upon request.
Payments at your appointment can be made using cash, debit card, or credit card (in order of preference). If you are travelling internationally, I am able to take cash (preferred) or most major credit cards. If you are paying in cash, please be aware that I do not typically carry any change with me.
All clients will be required to wear a mask for the duration of their appointment. Please bring one from home if you are able to, but if you are unable to or forget, we have disposable ones available at the studio.
You may bring one guest with you to your appointment if necessary, but they must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, masked, and respectful of the session(s) at hand. Please note that they may be asked to stay in the waiting area if the space becomes too crowded or if their presence becomes disruptive to me or anyone else working in the studio. We kindly ask that you do not bring any young children or pets to your appointment.
Please remember to bring a filled water bottle and snacks for your appointment, especially if you are scheduled for a longer session.
Please wear or bring comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the area being tattooed. It is highly recommended to wear something dark and/or that you don’t mind potentially getting tattoo and stencil ink on - tattooing can be messy! Consider bringing a warm covering of some sort if you get cold easily. If you’re unsure what kind of clothing would be appropriate for the tattoo placement you’re interested in, feel free to email me and I’d be happy to advise.
Please keep your skin exfoliated and moisturized in the days leading up to your appointment - good skin preparation will make the tattoo easier for me to do and result in a better heal for you!
If it is easy and you are comfortable doing so, please shave the area being tattooed the night before or morning of your appointment in order to avoid excess irritation to the skin the day of.
Come to your appointment well rested, fed, and hydrated. Do not consume alcohol for up to 24 hours prior to your appointment and do not come to your appointment under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Do not take blood thinning/anti-coagulant medications, such as aspirin, before your appointment. If taking an anti-inflammatory/NSAID is necessary, ibuprofen and acetaminophen are okay.

Take care and please don’t hesitate to email me if you have any questions, concerns, or accessibility inquiries prior to your appointment!
